"We want to find the right words to give credit where credit is due. Our mother has Alzheimer’s disease and she has been part of the day care setting since 2009. Our experience with two other facilities was unsatisfactory. This can be very discouraging for the client and their family. Now we are no longer discouraged! We have found the very best for our mother! From day one the staff and director were so kind and caring. Everyday our mom is happy to attend Shanti Gardens Adult Day Care; she feels welcomed and safe and happy. We are so grateful for these people. They can handle our mom’s changing needs in a professional, skilled, structured setting. From the Top down the whole staff is wonderful! Shanti Gardens is also a beautiful environment, the furniture and décor and bathrooms and flooring is lovely. We’re very proud to tell people that my mom attends Shanti Gardens. We recommend them to all our friends and family and anyone looking for a good adult day care. We could go on and on, they have exercise for the clients and celebrate all holidays with crafts and parties. The food they serve is nutritious and the cleanliness of the facility and staff is all very desirable. When we leave our mom in their care we have peace. We know that they treat her with dignity and respect and genuine kindness. "

"I am writing to express my joy with the care my mother gets from attending Shanti Gardens Adult Day Care Facility. I want it to be known how her experience and enjoyment at Shanti Gardens as opposed to the care she received at another day care facility has changed her mental and physical status. As a full service facility she is able to receive physical therapy there rather than at home which makes it more convenient for me as well as her.
As you know she attended the other facility and in the beginning attended Shanti Gardens facility only (3) days a week, and now she is attending everyday Monday thru Friday. This is simply due to the care and kindness of the staff and owners. Everyone is wonderful, caring and professional at Shanti Gardens. They are very skilled in their positions not to mention they enjoy what they do. I would be remise if I also didn’t mention the beauty and cleanliness of Shanti Gardens. The open space and the large windows brighten up the place which I think is conducive to a more positive outlook she has on the day. My mother now can’t wait to get up in the morning to go. I think she likes being there more than at home. When I pick her up she tells me all about her day and the activities she participated with. She also mentions exactly what she had for lunch and how good and balanced of a meal she gets. That is very important to her as when she cooked for our family she always focused on us having a balanced meal.
You have all taken her under your wings as if she was your mother and for that I am most thankful for.
